Learn to Pedal Course Description
Few of life’s milestones are as memorable as learning to ride a bike. But all too often, the process to get there is full of anxiety, unnecessary struggle, and tears.
But not with Pedal Kids!
Students will first learn the fundamentals of balancing a bike without pedals and without training wheels thanks to the Balance First Method of teaching that helps develop the muscle memory and confidence needed to pedal independently. Each following week, students will expand their cycling knowledge, skills, and distance.
Since each kiddo is still learning how to adjust to the world around them and developing new social skills, this is a parent-participation class. Our coaches will focus on creating a space where we can teach each kiddo new skills while also helping them develop their social-emotional skills.
However, learning and growing can come with some growing pains! For this reason, we ask parents to act as our Assistant Coaches in the 3-5yr old class to ensure that their kiddo is receiving the emotional support they need to succeed in learning this new, and often difficult skill. Normally, this just looks like helping us keep the kiddos safe by providing extra support for our guidelines, like staying in line, being sure to watch where we're going, and waiting our turn.
Pre-K LTP Prerequisites:
Child must be 3 years old, gliding confidently on a balance bike already, and be interested in pedaling—we do not force pedaling at this age.
A helmet and operational bicycle that allows the child to put their feet flat on the ground while sitting on the seat is required
Pedal Like a Champ Course Description
Spin into a biking adventure where every ride fuels fun and growth! From wobbly pedalers to young experts, this camp welcomes riders ages 5-12– who are already pedaling– to advance their biking and life skills.

Bike Skills + Life Skills Curriculum:
