The "David J. LeMarbre Parks Wall of Fame" was established in 1986 is to recognize our citizens who have contributed to the growth of our city's recreation programs by demonstrating a leadership role and serving with distinction. Wall of Fame inductees have contributed to the growth of the City of Hendersonville’s Parks and Recreation programs. All inductee have served either as a volunteer or employee working with civic groups, churches, and local government in the development of recreational opportunities.
Active – still involved in recreation programs in the parks
Inactive – no longer involved in recreation programs in the parks
Golden Service – deceased person that previously was involved in the parks
Employee Service – designated to Hendersonville Parks Department Employees who, over a period of years, exhibited unparalleled dedication, loyalty, and commitment to The Hendersonville Parks and Recreation Department and the City of Hendersonville.
