The Hendersonville Parks Department is currently accepting seasonal part-time GYM Supervisor job applications for our winter sports seasons. applications will be accepted until 5:00pm on Wednesday October 16th. Winter Basketball Update
BIG NEWS! Starting this winter 2019, the Civitan Club of Hendersonville will be running the youth basketball leagues for grades 1st thru 9th. Civitan will begin accepting registrations starting August 10th. For more information please visit their website.
The Parks Department will continue running the High School Rec, OPEN, and Adult divisions. More information to be posted soon!
Winter High School Basketball
The Hendersonville Parks offers High School basketball registration for individual registrations as well as OPEN teams. The High School registrations begin September 2nd thru September 29th. For more information visit our High School Basketball page.
Men's OPEN League Winter Basketball
The Hendersonville Parks offers Men's OPEN team basketball registrations, as well as NEW this season- individual registrations. The Men's Basketball league registrations begin September 2 thru September 29. For more information visit our Adult Basketball page.
Pre-School Track Meet
The Hendersonville Parks annual Pre-School Track Meet will be held on Sunday October 13th. Registrations begin August 12th thru September 30th. For more information visit our Pre-School Track Meet page.
New Shelter Fee & Reservation Policy
On December 17, 2018 the Parks Board passed new rates, in addition to a new reservation process. The new process and procedures will go into affect January 2, 2019 to help better serve our residents and customers more efficiently. PROJECTS ON THE HORIZON!
Ball Field Lighting
We're currently installing new ball field lighting at Drakes Creek football field, softball field #1, and Volunteer Park at Arrowhead Soccer complex. These new lights should be ready by the beginning of spring sports!
Mary's Magical Place
We're excited to announce that Mary's Magical Place is back OPEN! Thank you for your patience as we worked through repairs from the flood damages.
Hendersonville Parks had severe flood damage in February 2019 across our park system. Our goal is to have all facilities rebuilt to better than before. In the meantime, we're currently working hard to get all facilities back up and operational. Some of our damaged facilities include- Mary's Magical Place, Inline Hockey Rinks, Concession and Storage Buildings, Ball Field Fencing, Several Infield Washouts, Greenway Trials, and Parking Lots.
