Mission Statement

The goal of Hendersonville Parks is to provide a well-rounded, wholesome program of leisure time activities for the mental, physical, and social well being of the residents within the City of Hendersonville.

Summer Tennis Lessons

Registration for summer tennis lessons begin on April 18th. For more information visit our tennis page.

 

RAPTORS Kickball

The Hendersonville Parks RAPTORS special needs kickball league registrations begin May 6th thru May 31st. For more information visit our RAPTORS page.

 

Fall Baseball

High School OPEN Summer Basketball

NEW* The Hendersonville Parks will be offering a new summer High School basketball. Registrations begin April 1st thru May 5th. For more information visit our High School Basketball page.

 

Summer Camps

The Hendersonville Parks Summer Funtastiks & Kids Club (camp for children with disabilities) begin registrations on April 1st until all spots are filled. For more information visit our Summer Camp page.

New Shelter Fee & Reservation Policy

On December 17, 2018 the Parks Board passed new rates, in addition to a new reservation process. The new process and procedures will go into affect January 2, 2019 to help better serve our residents and customers more efficiently. Batey Farm Park Update

On February 25th the Hendersonville Parks announced the first master plan for the Batey Farm property based off the survey results from our community.

PROJECTS ON THE HORIZON!

Ball Field Lighting

We're currently installing new ball field lighting at Drakes Creek football field, softball field #1, and Volunteer Park at Arrowhead Soccer complex. These new lights should be ready by the beginning of spring sports!

 

Mary's Magical Place

Mary's Magical Place, is currently CLOSED indefinitely due to flood damage. We hope to have the playground back open as soon as possible.

Flood Damage

Hendersonville Parks had severe flood damage in February 2019 across our park system. Our goal is to have all facilities rebuilt to better than before. In the meantime, we're currently working hard to get all facilities back up and operational. Some of our damaged facilities include- Mary's Magical Place, Inline Hockey Rinks, Concession and Storage Buildings, Ball Field Fencing, Several Infield Washouts, Greenway Trials, and Parking Lots.
