IMPORTANT UPDATE: The Police Chief has extended the deadline to submit your Personal History Statement packets to the Personnel Office at Hendersonville City Hall by Friday, July 27, 2018 at 4:00 PM CST.
POST Certification bonus: The City of Hendersonville pays a $2,000 bonus for new Police Officers who are already POST Certified at the time of hire. This bonus is only paid after the employee successfully completes a probationary period. Documentation will be verified prior to hire. Employees paid this bonus must work for the City for 3 years or be required to pay it back on a pro-rated basis. This was recently approved by the Board of Mayor and Alderman on May 8, 2018.
