In the event of a blasting accident involving injury or damage, you should immediately call 911 .
Rogers Group, located at 245 Lower Station Camp Creek Road, Gallatin, TN, 37066, blasts several times each week. The vibrations can be felt throughout the Rogers Group Rock Quarry surrounding area. Each blast is monitored by seismic equipment to ensure that the ground movement and air blasts are within limits as established by the Tennessee State Fire Marshal's Office. These limits were established to prevent damage to structures. There are no City Ordinances governing a quarry operation, however, they do fall under the jurisdiction of the State Fire Marshal’s Office. State Law does not allow the City of Hendersonville to preempt the State Regulations.
If you have concerns or complaints about blasting, the State Fire Marshal's Office has jurisdiction over the use of explosives in construction. Please contact the State Fire Marshal at (615) 741-7190 to report blasting damage or related concerns.
