The Hendersonville Fire Department is an all hazards organization of dedicated professionals who are committed to serving the community by protecting life, property, and the environment through prevention, mitigation, education, emergency medical services, emergency management and community risk reduction.

HISTORY OF THE DEPARTMENT
The Hendersonville Fire Department is a professional fire service dedicated to serving the citizens of Hendersonville, TN. The department began as a volunteer service and became a full time, paid department in 1975.
The department service over 50,000 people within the city limits and responds from six fire stations.
Personnel in our department consists of Fire Chief Scotty Bush along with a deputy chief, administrative chief, training chief, fire marshal, three fire inspectors, two administrative personnel, and 93 suppression personnel.
We respond to fire and EMS calls as well as incidents involving hazmat, rescue, and extrication.
