Sanders Ferry Shelter 8 is ideal for large parties and events.  This shelter includes picnic tables, 2 grills, overhead lighting, water access and will accommodate up to 250 people.  This shelter is near the boat launch, docks, the restrooms, a playground, cornhole boards, Disc Golf Course, and greenspaces.

Rental Rate 

• $20 per hour for Hendersonville residents, $30 per hour for non-residents
• Fees are due at the time of reservation
• Rentals are available 7 days a week from 8:00am to 8:00pm
   
  

How To Reserve

• Rentals for Shelter #8 can now be submitted online
• Online rentals for shelter #8 must be submitted 14 days in advance and no more than 60 days in advance. All rentals less than two weeks, or more than 2 months in advance must be submitted in person at the parks office. No reservations will be accepted less than 3 days prior to the event. Please note, we no longer accept rentals over the phone.
• Make a reservation request online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In-person reservations are accepted Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm at the Parks office located inside City Hall.  View availability and make a reservation request Online
