PROPOSAL CONTRACTS WILL BE ISSUED UNTIL THE TIME SET FOR OPENING BIDS
A Prime Contractor must prequalify with the Department of Transportation in accordance with Section 54-5-117 of the “Tennessee Code Annotated” and Tennessee Department of Transportation Rule 1680-5-3 prequalification of contractors before biddable proposals will be furnished.
The City of Hendersonville in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, 78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4 and Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations, Department of Transportation, subtitle A, Office of the Secretary, Part 21, nondiscrimination in federally assisted programs of the Department of Transportation issued pursuant to such Act, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation, and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color or national origin in consideration for an award.

INVITATION TO BID
The City of Hendersonville is accepting separate bids for the following Uniform Service Proposal. Specifications may be obtained from the Public Works Department, Hendersonville City Hall, 101 Maple Drive North, Hendersonville, TN 37075. Bids must be submitted by Thursday, February 16th, 2012, for opening at 10:00 A.M. in the Public Works Office.
