The City of Hendersonville is planning to construct Phase 3 of the Bike Trail System. The trail will start at Main Street and run south along the west side of Drakes Creek / Old Hickory Lake and along Sanders Ferry Road to Mallard Point. The trail will be extended to Sanders Ferry Park as additional Federal funds become available. Total project cost is $1,488,000 with $1,190,400 coming from a federal grant through TDOT.
